Open when you are feeling stressed
Everyone gets stressed. I do, and I’m sure you do. With that being said, your lovely significant other is also going to get super stressed at some point. Why not have a letter waiting for him to open. It can calm his nerves, knowing he has a loving, supportive girlfriend!
Here is the letter:
Are you overthinking again? Please don’t. I know how busy you are and you have a lot to do, but don’t freak out. Don’t think about everything all at once because you are going to get overwhelmed. Overthinking about everything you may have to do, or won’t be able to learn, or whatever, will cause you to make a problem out of nothing. I know you can’t shut down your mind. No matter how stressed you are, it will be okay; even if you think it won’t.
Ask me for help; I will do anything to take some weight off your shoulders. It will get easier. Remember, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Even though there are trials, God will get you through this. Allow all this to make you stronger. Just keep holding on. Don’t be stressed, I know, easier said than done. It will be over before you know it. I love you.
What else do I put in there?
Of course, I put a little square of bubble wrap in there. It’s the greatest stress reliever of all time! Also, I put a devotion about stress inside. I’m very forgetful; I can’t rememeber what I got him to go along with a note that says, “Orange you glad you have me.” Off the top of my head some things that you could find in the color orange: Socks, a shirt, tick tacks, trident gum, an orange gift card to a store he likes, (not blown up) balloon, and something to go on his key ring. Those are just a few small orange things. Obviously, there are plently more. Finally, on the flashdrive, I did a cover of me singing Never Say Never by the Fray.
Bible verses you can add:
- James 1:2-4
- John 14:27
- Romans 16:20
- Proverbs 16:3
- Psalms 118:5-6
- Psalms 94:19
There is plenty more, that’s just a few.
